RESOLVED FIXED

Description Prashant Cholachagudda 2014-12-11 06:54:27 UTC
When executing the below code within our Mono applications (Xamarin.iOS/Android or Console) the User Agent string is sent to servers as “MyApp/X.X, (Android/X.X.X)”, whereas if we perform the same test on the Windows with .Net, we would see “MyApp/X.X (Android/X.X.X)” returned (minus the comma).

using (var client = new HttpClient())
{
client.BaseAddress = new Uri("https://www.test.com/");
client.DefaultRequestHeaders.UserAgent.ParseAdd(string.Format("MyApp/{0} (Android/{1})", "X.X", "X.X.X"));

var response = await client.GetAsync("/");
response.Dump();
}
