My application icon is showing up as the generic/white/cross-hatched icon on the iOS springboard. I've confirmed this with a blank test project using the Unified API. This is for an ipad app. It shows up like that on both the simulator and the device.
This works fine for me as soon as I setup the icons in the Info.plist.
Can you attach your test project with the images you're using?
Hi Rolf--I think we'll have to close this as I'm unable to reproduce this now either with a NEW project.
This bug is related to https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=25130 and with that project I have this issue. However, it is a bigger project and was converted to Unified and now exhibits the icon issue along with an application crash due to not being able to load NIBs. But I can't submit that as a sample.
So let's close this ticket.
