RESOLVED NOT_ON_ROADMAP

Description Andrew Way 2014-12-02 00:39:29 UTC
Customer created a solution with multiple projects (iOS, Android, Windows, and Xamarin.Mac).

Customer tried to open the same solution on a different Mac - that hadn't yet activated Xamarin.Mac

Instead of getting an unsupported project - cannot load project error - like typically occurs when you try to load a Windows project on a Mac. Customer could not open the solution at all.

Only until Mac was activated with Xamarin.Mac license - could the customer open the solution.

---- Awaiting Version info from customer ---

This is a feature request. XS doesn't real have the concept of loadable but not build able for project addins.

Given the fact that we have trial / starter and XM is easily installable, this is not on our roadmap.
