RESOLVED INVALID

Description Mikael Nensén 2014-11-17 08:29:19 UTC
Description of Problem:
A Command's canExecute method/lambda does not get called more than once when bound to a ToolbarItem and the ToolbarItem is clicked.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a ToolbarItem.
2. Assign a command to it's Command property with execute and canExecute lambdas.

Actual Results:
canExecute is invoked once and never again.

Expected Results:
canExecute is invoked every time I click the ToolbarItem.

Additional Information:

Apparently "as designed". The real problem is that the CanExecute return value does not Disable/Enable or Hide/Show the ToolbarItem.

New bug report filed about the button not showing as disabled/hidden: https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=25661
