RESOLVED NORESPONSE

Description Ian 2011-12-09 18:47:57 UTC
I was updating some apps which use sound. To play a sound I use:

	AudioSession.Initialize ();
	AudioSession.Category = AudioSessionCategory.MediaPlayback;
	AudioSession.SetActive (true);
	var mediaFile = NSUrl.FromFilename (str);

	player = AVAudioPlayer.FromUrl (mediaFile);
	if (player != null)
	{
		player.Play ();
	}

But now get this error:

2011-12-09 15:41:14.192 BabySoundTap[50540:20a03] Error loading /System/Library/Extensions/AudioIPCDriver.kext/Contents/Resources/AudioIPCPlugIn.bundle/Contents/MacOS/AudioIPCPlugIn:  dlopen(/System/Library/Extensions/AudioIPCDriver.kext/Contents/Resources/AudioIPCPlugIn.bundle/Contents/MacOS/AudioIPCPlugIn, 262): Symbol not found: ___CFObjCIsCollectable

I get the same thing, but the sound still plays (and the app doesn't crash).

Ian, does the app actually crash for you? Can you provide a crash log if so?
