1. Kick off debug session on Android emulator via Visual Studio
2. Close android emulator window while building
The build process now hangs (kill Visual Studio to get around this)
I have checked this Issue but I am unable to reproduce this Issue at my end. Process get terminated when user close Emulator while building project after Starting debug session. This is the screencast for the same: http://screencast.com/t/uSdn6qv1Wzj
@Steven, Could you please provide me build details on which you are getting this Issue? Also please provide me screencast so that I can reproduce it at my end.
It happens to me too a fraction of the time. E.g. today, 1/3 times I accidentally launched the emulator and closed it, Visual Studio needed to be force quit.
It seems to occur when you close the emulator while the VS build still says "emulator is starting. The first time may take a few minutes. Please be patient."
As we've introduced several improvements around Android deploying/debugging, I'll mark the bug as resolved fixed.
Please feel free to reopen it if you can still reproduce the issue with current bits.
