Description softlion 2014-10-20 03:16:42 UTC
CLLocationManager is missing a static property "AuthorizationStatus".

Workaround:

public static CLAuthorizationStatus AuthorizationStatus
{
  get
  {
    var classHandle = (new Class("CLLocationManager")).Handle;
    var selectorHandle = new Selector("authorizationStatus").Handle;
    return (CLAuthorizationStatus)Messaging.int_objc_msgSend(classHandle, selectorHandle);
  }
}

It's the Status property: http://iosapi.xamarin.com/index.aspx?link=P%3ACoreLocation.CLLocationManager.Status

I have checked this issue and I am also getting the same behavior.

When I check the definition "CLLocationManager" class in object browser I observed that the "AuthorizationStatus" property is missing. I have also observed that the "CLLocationManager" class contain a "status" property which has the same Implementation as "CLLocationManager".

I am not sure if "AuthorizationStatus" is renamed to "status". This needs developer confirmation if this property is renamed or missing from the "CLLocationManager" class.
