Each time you add a Web Reference, two References are also added
* one for System and
* one System.Xml
Don't know if this adds any unwanted overhead. FYI: So far, I've deleted the duplicate References and the app seems to work (at least on iPad).
What version of MonoDevelop are you using? You can find the MD version the About box. If you're using an older version, does this still happen with 2.8.4?
The version of MD is 2.8.2 (downloaded and installed about a week ago)
Also discovered this duplicate References are added if you simply choose to Update a Web Reference
I fixed this issue several weeks ago so it should not occur with MonoDevelop 2.8.4 or higher.
Thanks Alan. I updated to 126.96.36.199 and both problems seem to have been fixed.
