It works OK on my MacBook Air running Mavericks but crashes on startup on my MBP running Yosemite.
This is in the log:

Let me know if there's any other log info I can capture to help you diagnose this.
Hi Mike, could you post the contents of DeviceManagerLog and AndroidPlayerLog in /Library/XAP/Log, if they exist please? Thanks

I installed Virtual Box manually and then ran the Android Player install and I can run it now.
*** Bug 24474 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
This is fixed in update 0.2.5. Issue was related to a VirtualBox bug on OSX where kext modules are sometimes not properly loaded. XAP now detects if this is the case and reloads the kext modules.
