TestCase

Please see the attached TestCase

The attached app has a field that is modified to display a customer date range, which is controlled via a DatePicker. When using the iOS example, the DatePicker will advance to the last day of the week for the given range, while on Android, the datepicker will not do this advance.

This is filed as a bug only because the behavior is different on Android than it is on iOS, and the iOS handling seems undesirable.

Recreate Steps:
Open Test Case
Run Test Case for iOS
Select a Date

Expected Result:
The DatePicker maintains on the selected date, and the field changes to the week in which the selected date exists

Actual Result:
The DatePicker advances to the last day of the week, prior to displaying the range within the text field

Thanks

Yes that is the same
Comment 3 Jason Smith [MSFT] 2014-10-20 20:25:05 UTC
This is because on iOS you get incremental updates as the user changes the date. You are then updating the date in your backend code. If you dont want to do this update live, wait for the Unfocused event before updating the date.
