I Try to compile mono-3.10.0 for my Linux distribution Porteus (a Slackware derivate).
The source was http://origin-download.mono-project.com/sources/mono/mono-3.6.0.tar.bz2

I get the following error:

and the same error on 3.6.0

where can i get the following zip-files and why have only i am this error ?

This happens because docs/mono-file-formats.config etc. references files using a relative path, so it won't work in out-of-tree builds when mdoc.exe is invoked from a different directory.

As a workaround, try an in-tree build.

Sorry i was used a extra build directory.

It works if i use the exact instructions on this site:
http://www.mono-project.com/docs/compiling-mono/compiling-from-tarball
