The NSMetadataItem constant NSMetadataUbiquitousItemDownloadingStatusKey that was introduced in iOS 7 and all its associated constants NSMetadataUbiquitousItemDownloadingStatusCurrent, NSMetadataUbiquitousItemDownloadingStatusDownloaded, and NSMetadataUbiquitousItemDownloadingStatusNotDownloaded are missing.
As a related side note: Currently all the native NSMetadataItem constants are defined in the Monotouch class NSMetadataQuery instead of the Monotouch NSMetadataItem class.
You're right it's presently missing. I'll review the whole type(s) to see if other could be missing.
As a workaround the fields can be loaded with a bit of code. I can supply that to you if this is blocking you.
I have checked this issue and able to reproduce it.
I observed that NSMetadataUbiquitousItemDownloadingStatusKey missing from ios library.

Thanks. For now I just hardcoded the missing constant strings, so this is not blocking for us.
This was added in maccore / b9d2320b and will be part of our next major release (8.6).
