RESOLVED FIXED

Description John Miller [MSFT] 2014-09-12 14:43:41 UTC
**Overview:**

When deploying the app to a device, the error message "No valid aps-environment entitlement string found for application" appears.

**Steps to Reproduce:**

   1. Build and deploy an app that registers for push notifications. (need to have it in the provisioning profile).

**Actual Results:**

   An error is displayed.

**Expected Results:**

   No error.

**Build Date & Platform:**

   XVS 3.5.58

**Additional Information:**

There is a forum discussion about this here: http://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/22502/xamarin-studio-5-3-push-notification-error/p1

There was a hotfix for XS to address this, which was thought to resolve the issue in VS too. That is not the case, it is still and issue with VS only.

I am trying to build a sample to repro this - standby.

Hi,
As we've introduced several improvements around VS/Mac connectivity and the iOS build system as well as mentioned in Comment 4, I'll mark the bug as resolved fixed.
Please feel free to reopen it if you can still reproduce the issue with current bits.
Thanks!
