After following the instructions located in the Profiling Applications guide and installing Win32 Mono for a copy of mprof-report, I am still unable to profile .NET code in my Android applications. When running mprof-report, the output from supplying profile.mlpd reads: "Not a log profiler data file (or unsupported version)."
Which version of Mono are you using to read the file? Xamarin.Android 4.16 uses Mono 3.8.
I am using the latest installer from mono-project.com for Windows, which is 3.2.3.
@Sam: Can you please attach the .mlpd file which can't be processed?
Hi, Jonathan. Since this was filed, the Xamarin Profiler has been released and matured enough that I don't consider this relevant anymore. Thanks!
