HttpClient httpClient = new HttpClient();
var response = httpClient.GetAsync("http://localhost:5000/RedirectMe").Result;
//For instance this sends a 302 response to http://localhost:5000/Welcome.
response.RequestMessage does not have the request details of the redirected uri. The behavior is different from Microsoft .net.
On .net response.RequestMessage.RequestUri.AbsoluteUri's value is http://localhost:5000/Welcome where as on Mono it is different.
I'm from asp.net team working on vnext. While writing automated tests we ended up making hacks for mono.
