Description Fredy Wenger 2014-08-26 03:35:13 UTC
Xamarin-Forms:
If a Picker is used on a iOS-Device (iPhone, iPad) the text to select an entry ("Done") is showed only in english although the device is setted to another language (German).
In Android an WP the setted laguage is showed correct (eg. in Android there is displaye "Abbrechen" and "OK").

The .pdf contains a short description, code snippet's and screenshots to the bugs related to Xamarin.Forms, Picker and iOS.
Note: I have also created a bugzilla-entry to "picker not modal" and also have uploaded this .pdf to the other entry.

Set the following keys in Info.plist:

* Localizations
* Localization native development region

The xml looks like this:

	<key>CFBundleLocalizations</key>
	<array>
		<string>de</string>
		<string>es</string>
		<string>fr</string>
		<string>ja</string>
		<string>pt-BR</string>
		<string>ru</string>
		<string>zh-Hans</string>
		<string>zh-Hant</string>
	</array>
	<key>CFBundleDevelopmentRegion</key>
	<string>English</string>

The `Picker` on iOS then displays **Fertig** in German language (screenshot attached).

German language : Picker shows **Fertig**

Setting Info.plist as shown causes iOS to correctly translate the 'built-in' strings.
