MonoDevelop 2.8.2 with Addin 184.108.40.206
Mono for Android 4.0
Mac 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Mac 10.7 (Lion)
This issue exists with SnowLeopard also on all the API's.
You've set your TargetFrameworkVersion to something < Android 2.2, and the Sensor* types require Android 2.2 or later.
This is really a bug in the sample, and the sample should use some #if-fu to prevent building types that don't exist in the TargetFrameworkVersion.
This is fixed in the release-2.0 branch on monodroid-samples. We will push it to master when the release goes out:
This issue is fixed on:
Mono for Android 4.0.1
Mono 2.10.7 (Beta).
Hence, closing this issue.
