Step To Reproduce:
1.Launch the MonoDevelop.
2.Click on "Start a New Solution" link.
3.Choose C# > Mono for Android in left hand panel.
4.Select Mono for Android Application from the center panel.
5.Enter any name into Name field.
6.Click on "Ok" button.
7.Open the Activity1.cs file.
9.Debug the aplication.
10.Observe that the application runs completely in debugging mode even after applying the breakpoint.
After appyling the breakpoint when Debug the application, it runs completely in debugging mode.
Note: This is working fine on Mac.

Same problem here, my environment ...

Trial version of Mono for Android downloaded 12/10/2011
The IDE never appears to attach to the process on debug.
Mono Develop also does not stop on breakpoints.
We RUN the Mono for Android application and got the same issue.
Mono develop 2.8.5

Hi everyone, thanks for the report.
Could you attach the contents of the Application Output and the android log (obtained via adb logcat or via the Android Log tab on MD, either works)?

Once the last message was written the break point has already been passed over
i did test it on a 32 bit win7... same problem....
i did find out, that i can debug complete new created projekts..
but i cant debug my old projekts....
This is resolved and the fix should be in the next MD release.
When can we expect a release?
or is there some Beta releases that we can install until the new version is released?
