When ScrollView is used inside a child page of CarouselPage, The horizontal swipe gesture to change the page behaves oddly, sometimes it responds, sometimes it doesn't, this strange behavior only happens on Android, iOS seems to cope very good with this two used together. I tested this using the Genymotion VM, and a LG Nexus 4 real device.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) To be able to reproduce this fast, you can use the TabbedPageDemo in the Xamarin samples page.
2) Change the TabbedPageDemoPage.xaml to this: http://pastie.org/9454592 .This will change the TabbedPage for a CarouselPage, add some extra labels (to have more content) and add the ScrollView.
3) Compile the code for both iOS and Android, try to change the Page using the horizontal swipe gesture on Android and iOS.
The Android application does not always respond to the horizontal swipe gesture, while the iOS application works like a charm.
The Android application should be able to change the page immediately when an horizontal swipe gesture is detected, and when a vertical swipe gesture is detected, scroll down if the Page has more content below.

I have confirmed that the Carousel Page horizontal swipe gesture is working with Xamarin.Forms 1.4.2 when in a scrollview.
