Mono Updates Don't Work Over Firewall

Presumably this is some kind of proxy configuration/authentication issue, and as such applies to Mono in general.
Comment 2 Jeffrey Stedfast 2011-12-22 15:17:14 UTC
we're going to need a lot more info on this, such as:

1. Does he really mean "Firewall" and not "Proxy"?

2. what platform is this? Windows or Mac?

3. If he really means proxy, what type of proxy is it? We'll need the proxy settings he needs to get out (there are at least half a dozen different types of proxies: ftp, http, https, socks, javascript, etc).

We're not going to get an answer from the submitter, so I'm going to mark it as a dup of the Mono proxy bug.
