your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
The designer would be much more useful if it had support for the tools attributes defined in http://tools.android.com/tech-docs/tools-attributes. This would be especially useful for seeing list items and fragment layouts in the designer.
Supporting tools:layout would be a big win for custom controls. Right now using mvvmcross's MvxListView or MvxSpinner makes the designer nearly impossible to use since the controls are not represented properly.
Does the new designer support the tools namespace?
Thanks for taking the time to file this enhancement request, @Jeremie! We do support _some_ of the tools attributes defined in http://tools.android.com/tech-docs/tools-attributes, such as tools:layout. Are there any others in particular you are looking for in terms of support in the designer?
