Description Jon Goldberger [MSFT] 2014-08-01 20:23:26 UTC
To reproduce:

1. Open the Xamarin.Forms FormsGallery sample app: http://developer.xamarin.com/samples/FormsGallery/
2. Launch on Windows Phone.
3. Select the Editor (multiple lines) demo page from the list.
4. Click in Editor Box, note background changes to white.
5. Enter some text.
6. Click outside of editor box to end editing

Expected result: Text entered will be visible
Actual result: Text is not visible (black text on black background)

To confirm this is the issue, change the background color to white by adding
BackgroundColor = Color.White
to the new Editor properties in the EditorDemoPage.cs file and repeat the above.

Still nothing?
I confirm the exact same behavior with version 1.3 of Xamarin Forms

I have checked this issue and with the help of steps mentioned in bug description I am able to reproduce this behavior.

Screencast: http://www.screencast.com/t/tXAtTC5l

Additional Info: If I set the BackgroundColor property of editor to white I am not getting this behavior.

Please let me know if I can provide any other info to this issue.
