Description emoriarty 2014-07-31 17:34:52 UTC
The mono C# compiler emits "error CS0584: Internal compiler error: Unexepected modulus input: DecimalLiteral" for modulus division using decimal literals. See below for a reproducer of this issue. Also on a minor note I believe "Unexepected' should be 'Unexpected'.

===== Test.cs =====
     1  public class Test {
     2         const decimal B = 10M % 1M;
     3  }
===== End of Test.cs =====

$ csc.exe /t:library Test.cs

Test.cs(2,22): warning CS0414: The field 'Test.B' is assigned but its value is never used

# Mono 3.4.0
$ mcs /t:library Test.cs
Test.cs(2,26): error CS0584: Internal compiler error: Unexepected modulus input: DecimalLiteral (10M)
error CS0133: The expression being assigned to `Test.B' must be constant
Compilation failed: 2 error(s), 0 warnings
