There's currently no way to change the color format of the renderbuffer.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to change the color format
2.

Actual Results:  
There's no way!

Expected Results:  
There is a way

I would assume that the GraphicsMode in the GraphicsContext would give you that
option but GraphicsContext.GraphicsMode is always null and readonly :(

Most importantly I need to be able to change the resolution of the alpha
channel. It seems to be 1 by default for OGL ES 2.0 (can't actually determine
that because the GL.GetRenderbufferParameter(All.Renderbuffer,
All.RenderbufferAlphaSize, ref alphasize); is broken too).

This is fixed in 4.0.6. There is a new property in AndroidGameView called GraphicsMode which you can use to set the graphics mode you want to use. To set this before the context is created, override CreateFrameBuffer and set it before calling base. The system will choose the closest graphics mode available.
