Description Mathias 2011-11-17 05:41:12 UTC
If I create a WebMethod which uses a jagged array, either as an argument or as the return value, the client proxy code generated omits the array.

Webtest.asmx:
<%@ WebService Language="C#" Class="Test.Webtest" %>

using System;
using System.Web.Services;

namespace Test
{
	[WebService (Namespace = "http://tempuri.org/NumberService")]
	public class Webtest : WebService
	{
	  [WebMethod]
	  public int[][] ArrayFunction(string[][] parameter)
	  {
	    return null;
	  }
	}
}

Function ArrayFunction found in Webtest.cs, as generated by wsdl:

    public int ArrayFunction(string parameter) {
        object[] results = this.Invoke("ArrayFunction", new object[] {
                    parameter});
        return ((int)(results[0]));
    }

The webinterface of xsp shows the correct types:

Input Parameters
parameter	ArrayOfArrayOfString

Output Parameters
ArrayFunctionResult	ArrayOfArrayOfInt

I am using mono-2.10.2 under Linunx (openSuse 11.4, 32 bit)
