The Android Designer does not open a .axml layout when it is added to the project as a linked file.
## Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an Android project.
2. Add a layout file (.axml) to the Resouces -> layout folder, but choose "Add as Link".
3. Double-click the file or right-click->Open With -> Android Designer (default)
## Actual Results:
Double-clicking results in the file being opened as a text file (no designer/source tab).
Open With-> Android Designer results in an error message dialog: "The file cannot be opened with the selected editor. Please choose another editor."
## Expected Results:
The file should be opened in the Designer.

The same behavior happens in Xamarin Studio.
Checked, Android designer does not load layout when it is a linked file.

Tagged as feature enhancement, relatively corner case so not currently on our roadmap for a future release.
To be more precise, we do support other resources (like drawable) that are added as links. They will render correctly when referenced from a layout. What we don't support is initially loading a layout file that is itself a link.
