In VS 2010 we can see if we have an out of date version of a file, project, etc. with the status icons on files in the solution explorer. In MonoDevelop it's hard to see if someone needs to do an update from SVN to get newer files.
I'd like to see an option like in VS 2010 (SourceGear Vault) where version control status is refreshed every X minutes (10 default, can be set in options) and the solution explorer's icons for version control are updated accordingly.
The most important thing here is that a developer knows to get a more recent update.
