Description Miha Markic 2014-05-29 10:22:43 UTC
Hi guys,

I am using Xamarin 3.0.54 on a rather large project. Recently (this and previous Xamarin 2.* beta version for sure, I don't think others) Visual Studio 2013 started to stop on HttpClient method (hosted in a PCL library, somehow similar to the sample project as mentioned in related bug below) handled exceptions even though they are turned off. Since it is throwing a lot of handled exceptions it is really annoying.
So far I can't reproduce the bug on a sample project, but perhaps it is linked to the other bug I've reported
https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=20132
Do you have any idea what might be causing this Visual Studio's behavior? I know I haven't really given you much data to work on...

Ah, Xamarin IDE works fine on same project.

After few hours of figuring the issue out I've found that it was caused by *.suo file.
Deleting *.suo file resolved the issue. (which is probably not even connected to Xamarin)
