I found an option in Xamarin 4.2.2 (Xamarin.Android 4.10.1) => Properties => Build => Android Build => Packaging (Tab) => Embed assemblies in native code (Option) that actually packages all the linked binaries (dlls) into APK->lib->armeabi->libmonodroid.so. This way it actually obfuscate the binaries that I have been linking with the application.
I didn't find the similar option for iOS builds. Is it possible to do this for iOS? If so is it not possible via Xamarin studio?
Any pointers on highly appreciable.
On iOS we will always generate native code (by using our AOT compiler), because iOS does not allow us to JIT code at runtime.
So there is no such option for iOS because it's already how it's done (and it can't be done in any other way either).
