I get Out of Memory error when deploying Android project during Mandroid task.
Note that it happens mostly after cleaning. Usually it gets better on second build.

Note:

Restarting visual studio also helps (when rebuilding keep doing the same error).

Also, my assets are in the ~150MB range. Maybe something doesn't get released properly, and that's why it start failing after a few builds?

I have checked this Issue with following builds

VS 2013/2012
Xamarin.iOS for VS 1.12.278(X.Android 4.12.3.3)

I am successfully able to deploye and launch android application multiple times even after cleaning solution/project.

@Virgile, Could you please let me know which Xamarin.Android build version you are using?

Did you try to put some huge assets (i.e. a 200mB file)
