RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 5870

Description rwakelan 2014-05-09 16:22:07 UTC
I have recently gotten my Android app to the point where it was added to TFS source control. The first time I built the project after adding it to source control, the following error came up:

The "CopyIfChanged" task failed unexpectedly.
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'Resources\Resource.Designer.cs' is denied.
   at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
   at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite, Boolean checkHost)
   at System.IO.File.Copy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite)
   at Xamarin.Android.Tasks.CopyIfChanged.Execute()
   at Microsoft.Build.BackEnd.TaskExecutionHost.Microsoft.Build.BackEnd.ITaskExecutionHost.Execute()
   at Microsoft.Build.BackEnd.TaskBuilder.<ExecuteInstantiatedTask>d__20.MoveNext()

If I check out the file, the build completes successfully.
