RESOLVED NORESPONSE

Description gibarrola 2014-04-14 12:55:26 UTC
Xamarin.IOS Build host fails when performing the "Preparing resources rules" step. Further analysis revealed that the custom resource rules file (e.g. CustomRules.plist) supplied in Visual Studio (project properties -> iOS Bundle Signing tab -> Custom resource rules) was transferred to the OSX machine correctly but was excluded from the application package.

Note: the "Custom resource rules" file is correctly included in the application package and the build succeeds if the same project is build via Xamarin Studio on the OSX machine.

Developer setup:
  - OS: Windows 7 x64
  - Visual Studio: Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 Version 11.0.61030.00 Update 4
  - Xamarin.iOS 1.10.47

Hi Jarina,

I have tried BundleResource & None without any success. What should the build action be for these files?

Thanks

Hi gibarrola

I did a few tests here, and custom entitlments and resource rules seems to work.

Can you try with 1.12 version (from Beta).

Also, if didn't work, can you provide a small project with you CustomResource.plist ?

Thank you.
