Description Joseph Hill 2011-11-04 15:52:52 UTC
Pressing Home sends me to the top of the page insted of the begining of the line. Is this expected behavior on Mac OS X?

MonoDevelop: 2.8.1
Runtime: Mono 2.10.6 (tarball Fri Sep 16 00:13:06 EDT 2011)
Operating System: Mac OSX (Unix 10.6.0.0)
Distributor: Xamarin

If your Mac doesn't have a home key, you can use fn-left arrow.

Many apps on Mac seem to ignore the home key, though most cross-platform apps (MS Word, Chrome, etc) move the cursor to the beginning of the line.

The standard way to move to the beginning of the line on OS X is command-left arrow.

This is standard behaviour of the Home key on MacOS.

To move to the beginning of the line, use command-left (Mac) or control-a (emacs, but most Mac apps respect it).

If you wish, you can rebind it in MonoDevelop preferences.
