Steps to reproduce:
1. Open or create android application in Visual Studio.
2. Open Main.axml file.
Actual Result: Designer does not open on Windows 8.1. However, this is working fine on another windows machines.
Expected Result: Android designer should open successfully.
Xamarin for VS 1.12.235
REGRESSION: This is working fine with stable X.Android 4.12.1
An update to this issue:
This is happening on all machines when SDK tool version is 22.6. and this has been fixed with X.Android 4.12.02001
But I am not sure which build of Xamarin for VS will have this fixed? Please let us know shall we get a build of Xamarin for VS which will have this fix?

According to the call today, Dominique says the hash is bumped and can be set to RESOLVED.
I have checked this issue with following builds:
Xamarin for VS 1.12.247
