Description Jason D 2014-02-25 16:24:15 UTC
Error	24	Unexpected error - Please file a bug report at http://bugzilla.xamarin.com. Reason: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path "Y:\Documents\Xamarin\3Wire\WebStore-Main\WebStoreMobile\Android\IMI.Webstore.Mobile.Android\obj\Debug\__library_projects__\ScanditSDK\library_project_imports\scanditsdk-enterprise-premium-android_3.5.3\SimpleSampleProject\libs\scanditsdk-barcodepicker-android-3.5.3.jar"	IMI.Webstore.Mobile.Android
Comment 1 Jonathan Pryor 2014-02-25 22:12:47 UTC
The problem is that the path we're generating ("Y:\.." is 271 characters) exceeds MAX_PATH (260).

We need to update how we generate directory names so that our paths are shorter.

@Jason: In the meantime, you would need to shorten the path by at least 11 characters, e.g. by removing the "WebStore-Main" directory, resulting in "Y:\Documents\Xamarin\3Wire\WebStoreMobile\...".

Not exactly a MSBuild problem; component directory naming strategy is determined by the component team (or whoever not me, you should ask someone else, jonp).
Comment 3 Bill Holmes 2014-12-03 12:37:16 UTC
Some changes have been made in the Xamarin.Android toolchain to reduce the number of characters used for __library_projects__.

I am able to build an Android app with your root path.
Y:\Documents\Xamarin\3Wire\WebStore-Main\WebStoreMobile\Android\IMI.Webstore.Mobile.Android
