Project for workaround, with empty IJavaObjectEx interface
As of Xamarin.Android 4.12, Android binding projects now all produce an additional warning:
Warning BG8C00: For type Java.Lang.Object, base interface Java.Interop.IJavaObjectEx does not exist. (BG8C00)
For users who would like to be able to get a completely warning-free build, it would be lovely to have either:
A. A fix so that this warning doesn't appear.
B. As a workaround, a way to suppress this warning from the binding generator.
## "Messy" workaround
Add a reference to the attached project in the binding project. This project just contains an empty interface definition for Java.Interop.IJavaObjectEx.
Fixed in monodroid/30025ac7.
Has this change been shipped? I'm seeing this warning in my bindings project. Wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or if this bug wasn't fixed, or if it hasn't shipped yet.
