In my application, I display a full-resolution bitmap in an ImageView using WinForms. Using .NET on Windows, the image scales using bicubic resizing, making the image seem smooth and crisp. However, under Mono on Linux (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS), the image scales to the dimensions of the ImageView using what appears to be a nearest neighbor scaling method.

If it's helpful at all, this is the exact same executable compiled for .NET 4.0 using Visual Studio 2012.

I'd also like to add that I'm not using .NET 4 specific functions and it compiles fine under 2.0, I just use 4.0 because it multithreads the launch so it opens faster.
