Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch the MonoDevelop.
2. Click on "Create a New Solution" button.
3. Select options from the left hand panel.
4. Click on any available options on the Center panel.
5. Press any Key from keyboard.
6. See auto suggestion box appear.
7. Enter center panel's options name .
8. See entered option name is not highlighted. 

Actual Result:
Auto complete functionality should work and entered option name should be highlighted.

Expected Result:
Auto Complete functionality should work and entered option name should be highlighted.

If I understand correctly you've a problem where auto completion doesn't pop up. 

I've replaced the auto completion layer and checked new projetcs - they work. It'll be released as monodevelop 3.0

No, the problem is that the incremental search popup in the lists in the new solution dialogs doesn't work.

It works in the new project dialog.
