After changing device orientation iPhoneOSGameView.LayoutSubviews() is been called. This function recreates the framebuffer (and the current GraphicsContext). Despite GraphicsContext.ShareContexts is set true, OpenTK creates a new EAGLContext with a totally new ShareGroup. As a result all GL resources are lost.

you need to use GLKit.GLKView
iPhoneOSGameView is kinda deprecated now
