Description Sergei Makarov 2014-01-29 05:38:46 UTC

Moving not empty directory within project cause creating new directory

How to reproduce:

1. Create project structure Dir1/Dir2/Dir3/EmptyClass.cs
2. In project navigator drag Dir3 and drop it to Dir1
3. Directory Dir1/Dir2/Dir3 still present.

I have traced this and know that the operation impemented via creating new directory and moving files into (see ProjectOperations.TransferFiles(...)). But why not simple to move directory?

I have checked this issue, and getting directory present after moving director on "Xamarin Studio"

I followed steps as in bug description and I found that after moving directory "Dir3". "Dir3" displayed only in "Dir1" on "Xamarin Studio" Ide, but when I check under project Directory, "Dir3" are present in "Dir1/Dir3" and present "Dir1/Dir2/Dir3"
