Description The Soni 2014-01-09 17:12:41 UTC
I am trying to submit my app to apple, but my project won't compile to native code in xamarin. Two assemblies are creating issues, one of which I can't even find any references to. Here's the log:

Compiling to native code

I checked the latest of System.Data, and it seems to be up-to-date. No idea about System.Json. I tried to add the "System.Json" component from xamarin store but no help. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks

Can you try to install Xamarin.iOS 7.0.6 from the alpha channel and see if that works?
Comment 2 The Soni 2014-01-10 11:30:51 UTC
When I try to update from the beta or alpha channels, it says "error retrieving update info." To get it to work, I deleted the files in "~/Library/MonoTouch" and MonoAndroid according to this forum: http://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/2290/xamarin-update-error-retrieving-update-information

But still it doesn't work. Here are the versions..

Current XS version is 4.2.2 build 2.
current Xamarin.iOS version is 7.0.4.209. Build date: 2013-11-11.
Xcode version is 5.0.5
Operating system is OS X 10.8.5

Thanks

This looks like a temporary server problem, please try again a bit later.

@Kale, it's unlikely you're running into the same issue, so please file a new bug with a complete build log and we'll have a look.
