RESOLVED FIXED

Description John 2014-01-02 05:05:03 UTC
make[6]: Entering directory `/media/saruman/lfs/sources/Compressed/mono-3.2.5/mcs/class/Facades'
/bin/sh: 5: cd: can't cd to System.Collections.Concurrent
Comment 1 John 2014-01-02 05:32:39 UTC
Found that system.collections.concurrent was referenced in the Makefile of this directory.

It had nothing in it but the Makefile.

Move up one directory level. Found the entries for Facades and removed them.

Temporary work around.

System.Collections.Concurrent was missing from the directory altogether.

This error happens when building from 3.2.5, 3.2.6 from sources and the latest (yesterday's)sources from git.

steps to reproduce:

(we have previously installed mono 3.2.3)

git clone git://github.com/mono/mono.git
cd mono
./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr
make (fails here)

log:
...

Hi,

I've also this error trying to build mono-3.2.6.

I've found a temporary workaround using tarballs provided here : http://download.pokorra.de/mono/tarballs/

group initiative assumes we should improve the main sources tree. Obviously, it is potentially possible to build 3.2.5 and 3.2.6, however, it is impossible to build from the box by http://www.mono-project.com/Compiling_Mono_From_Git on clean box.
Comment 5 Marek Safar 2016-04-16 09:24:10 UTC
This should be fixed in any recent sources
