If the error list was ver large and was vertically scrolled to the bottom, then most of the errors are fixed and the scrollbar hides, the list stays scrolled to a nonexistent position and the errors cannot be seen.

This only happens when pads are autohidden, looks like a bug in the docking system.

It works when the pad is autoshown as well as when it's docked. It only breaks when autohidden. In the debugger, it looks like the pad has no GdkWindow when it fails. If it has no GdkWindow, it should be unrealized...
