Description Brendan Zagaeski (Xamarin Team, assistant) 2013-12-17 21:47:17 UTC
The new "Remote Build Error" is a nice feature!

Here's example of the detailed error message:

> A build error occured on the build server while attempting to publish your application.
> Please check the Mac Server Log for details.

One tiny possible enhancement would be to add a few extra words to clarify that the "Mac Server Log" is not the mtbserver.log on the build host, but rather the "Mac Server Log" from Visual Studio's "Debug -> Windows -> Output" pad.

This tripped me up for several minutes, especially because I thought the "Mac Server Log" was a direct copy of the mtbserver.log. Maybe the two logs used to be more similar in previous releases?

Thanks!

I have checked this issue and observed that Debug ->Windows ->Output and mtbs server log both are different.
