Description Horácio J. C. Filho 2013-12-06 15:39:20 UTC
Parcel.WriteTypedList method requires a System.Collections.IList instead a System.Collections.Generics.IList<T>.

In Android SDK, Parcel.writeTypedList method requires a List<T> but there is no match on Xamarin.Android. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks a lot :D
Comment 1 Horácio J. C. Filho 2013-12-13 13:35:38 UTC
Does exist any workaround for this?
Comment 2 Jonathan Pryor 2013-12-16 15:52:53 UTC
Do you need a workaround? Is the IList version not usable?
Comment 3 Horácio J. C. Filho 2013-12-16 17:30:53 UTC
Unfortunately, the IList is not usable :/ :/, I want to use a typed list instead. Thanks for help me :D

Unfortunately this is how our API binds Java, which does not really have "generics" at ABI level.

(Even if they had binary-level generics, we cannot introduce API breakage without really major upgrade such as "Xamarin.Android 5.0").
