Description palango 2011-10-24 00:20:41 UTC
I have MonoDevelop 2.8.1 and the Python plugin installed. However the Python plugin doesn't start because it's complaining that MonoDevelop has only version 2.8.

However MonoDevelop itself says it is only version 2.8 but I've checked that I downloaded the right 2.8.1 version from the website.

The odds are that you have not correctly installed MonoDevelop 2.8.1. Did you copy it from the .dmg file to your Applications directory?

I'm on Fedora 15 and built it from the 2.8.1 tarball two times.

We no longer will maintain the python addin.
