Is there an ETA on this blocking bug? Its been over a week and no progress or new information about it and users are unable to deploy projects onto iOS devices.

@Rodney,
I have just bumped this to the 1.10 release, so will try to get this out in the next release, if we can.

If you have the right provisioning profiles setup, you should be able to click the Start button, rather than Deploy, and if your device is connected it should upload and run your app on the device.

Today we have checked this issue with following builds :

VS 2013
MTVS 1.10.19
MT 7.0.5.0

We still not able to deploy application via steps given in description.

Screencast : http://screencast.com/t/ZtAGRYse9U8

Now we are getting following logs :

Mac server log :https://gist.github.com/saurabh360/f2aac77349e65b2b2e15
Build Log :https://gist.github.com/saurabh360/4c4ca892da7e26d3ec82

Please suggest us if we can provide something more needful.

Can you attach the solution you were using please.
Comment 5 dean.ellis 2013-12-04 12:26:19 UTC
Also the Mac server log doesn't look uptodate as it doesn't contain any of the error messages seen in the build log. can you double check and attach the latest version please.

I have checked it again. Now I am able to deploy application on device via Right click project and select Deploy. But application does not launch.

Hence closing this issue.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Mohit - what was going on with comment 3? Can you file that as a separate issue? A lot of people are having issues that are only appearing sporadically, and if we just ignore them when it works once we end up having everyone hitting a bunch of small inconsistent behaviors that result in an overall worse experience. Perhaps Dominique/Dean can glean something from the log file?
