Description Chris Hardy [MSFT] 2011-10-20 10:19:44 UTC
Well between the braces or brackets like
for
{
   code
}

i guess you should add button on left side of for if clicked on code wil minimized.

feature -> won't do this, would produce too many + on the side when doing that, tried that back a while.
Comment 3 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2011-10-20 10:29:01 UTC
Some IDEs do this and it doesn't seem to be a problem. It can really help for large ifs and stuff like that.

Mike: I'm not arguing for or against (I don't really use code folding), but what if MD only offered to collapse for-loops of >= x number of lines?
Comment 5 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2011-10-20 11:51:40 UTC
That's a great idea - support folding all scope blocks greater than 5 lines or so.
Comment 6 Mike Krüger 2011-10-21 04:34:41 UTC
hm, I think for >= x lines it makes sense. We'll have to test that.

It produced too many clutter in the folding margin as I tried to have that on >any< block, was really awful.
Comment 7 Jeffrey Stedfast 2011-10-21 09:09:42 UTC
Yea, I can believe that...
Comment 8 Mike Krüger 2011-12-07 07:53:17 UTC
Implemented in new resolver branch (Master doesn't have the required infrastructure for that).

Btw. I would like to get some feedback about it.
