Description James Clancey 2013-11-04 19:29:37 UTC
Once you click debug and the emulator starts you cannot cancel the build until the emulator starts. If you try you are told you cannot cancel since it is deploying. This poses a major problem if you close the emulator as it is starting. Since it never finishes launching you cannot do anything. You have to force quit VS to be able to do anything.

This issue was fixed as part of bug 15872 .

You can now cancel a deployment

This fix was done yesterday. I don't think its made it to alpha yet.

Maybe we should auto-cancel when something went wrong with starting the emulator? I just ran into this problem because the emulator crashed on startup.

Today we have checked this issue and we are able to cancel build while emulator starts as shown in screencast : http://screencast.com/t/qwlw4Xe1v
Hence closing this issue

I have checked this issue on following builds :

XS 4.2.4 (build 266)
X.Android 4.13.03
