An update to the above issue :

Number of xamarin.iOS SDK update window is equal to the number of times user click on sync now option.

i.e. Repetition of step 2 given in description is equal to the number of times user click on 'No' button in Xamarin.iOS SDK update window

Today, I have checked this issue with latest MTVS build:

MTVS 1.8.65

But I am still getting same issue with this MTVS builds. I am not sure whether
this issue is fixed this build or not.

Please, let us know fixed build version info.

Today we have checked this issue on following builds :

VS 2013 / 2012
MTVS 1.8.170

Now user is able to close 'Xamarin.iOS SDK update' window by click on "No" button. And multiple instance of same dialogue is not appearing.

Hence closing this issue.
